The Toga is a type of chair that can be stacked, designed so one can be placed on top of another. Sergio Mazza created it in 1968, using a single piece of fiberglass. This material is heated then molded over a solid form to achieve its shape and hardens as it cools down. The Toga chair made its debut at the International Furniture Exhibition in Milan in 1969.

Artemide, a company based in Milan known for blending functional utility with elegance in its products, manufactured the chair.
