The armchairs underwent careful restoration - the wood surface was treated with shellac, the upholstery was carefully restored using period techniques. The designer produced these two armchairs as prototypes used in a showroom and these are the only ones in existence from this design. If you are searching for a one of a kind set of armchairs, these two may be the ones. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
