It originally appeared in a French couture fashion magazine of the time. It is NOT a recent reproduction print. It features not one,, but TWO Balenciaga designs!!!! It is so chic and so classic . The couture designs are noted not only under the Balenciaga name but also denote the tissue (fabric) makers names as these were well-known for couturiers. The image is done in contrasting shades of dark charcoal tones set against an mint tone background. Note the wonderful sketch quality of the illustration. The classic Mid-Century styling with cinched waistlines and silhouette features are wonderful and the fabulous accessories of the hats and gloves finish the look! The print is in excellent, clean condition. Measures 8.75 x 11.75 inches in size. Comes matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch custom mat ready for a standard size frame.
