Rare, large and especially lovely antique 19th-Century French majolica footed seafood platter with shell motifs and coral shaped handles circa 1890.
This beautiful platter has a scalloped edge, gorgeous coral and pink colors, and charming coral- shaped handles.
Discolouration and wear is consistent with age and use - there’s a small chip to the underside of the platter. Maker's mark "Sarreguemines Majolica" impressed on underside.
