Leo's father, artist Ludwig Moser (1833-1916), founded the company in 1857, which employed many talented craftsmen and was internationally renowned for its incredible designs\. Art Deco period, Bohemia, Czechoslovakia\. Alexandrite glass, solid construction, 8-fold facet, 3 times laced\. Designed by Josef Hoffmann for Moser in Karlsbad\. Elaborately cut, base cut and polished. Literature: Moser Artistry in Glass 1857-1938, Gary Baldwin & Lee Carno USA 1988
