Fabricated by the Belber Company of Philadelphia, PA, an entity founded by 2 Romanian immigrants, Aaron & Henry Belber in 1891 and continuing to the present day. The two were innovators in their field, creating the first set of matching luggage and ushering in the marketing concepts of celebrity endorsements and product placement. Their suitcases were a status symbol for upwardly mobile gentleman and ladies of the era.

Dimensions: overall, 25.5"W x 16"D x 25..75"H; suitcase, 25.5"W x 16"D x 8"H; base, 17"W x 13"D x 17.75"H.

Very good vintage condition; satin interior is almost perfect, key is included, minor exterior wear and water glass mark on top, as shown. Base is in excellent condition.
