1930's modernist desk in black lacquered metal, nickelplated handles and surmounted by a thick slab of Saint-Gobain glass. with working lock on the drawers!
In the style of Bruno Weil for Thonet.
Dxhxl: 72x76x167 cm
This desk was used for many years by a Belgian otolaryngologist (ear, nose, throat). After World War II, the doctor was called upon by the government to examine returning prisoners of war for their state of health. This correspondence by letters was found behind the drawers in this desk!
