This jar is round in shape, the top original with a pointed finial. The jar is hand painted in shades of blue featuring two cavorting figures. The lid depicts a 'bat' design also in blue. The top opening is 3 ½ inches in diameter.
The jar measures approx. 8.5 inches high to the top of the finial and is 8 inches at its widest. The height on the stand 12". This is a very unique stand.
The overall condition of this antique is very good - we estimate this to be around 150 years old - Late Qing Dynasty. Please see photographs for more on the condition of this piece. They are an important part of the description and can not be over looked.
Provenance - originally bought in N.C. from the Stone Lantern Antique shop in 2005.
