A pair of Traditional style fireplace andirons by Virginia Metalcrafters. A historic reproduction of andirons found in Middleton House in Charleston, South Carolina, USA and approved by the Historic Charleston Foundation. Solid polished brass andirons and black iron metal billets. Andirons have a scepter shape to the finial, a decorative swirl pattern to finial & plinth, cabriole legs and ball in claw feet. The billets are long for use with burning wood fireplace logs. Made in the USA, in the late 20th Century.
