Offered is a framed seaweed print by Henry Bradbury. The print is from Bradbury's 1859 edition of British Seaweed and is a fine example of a nature print, a process popularized and perfected by Bradbury in which the actual flora was used to create a type of mold used for printing.
The frame is custom crafted here in our shop from ambrosia maple with walnut splines and an oil finish.
The print is framed under a thick 8-ply conservation grade mat and glazed with UV protective glass to prevent fading.
