The wood shelves are stunning, in deep and rich color matched with upright supports that have been turned and styled to give this otherwise linear piece some flair and ornamentation. The supports are capped with turned finials and sit on brass casters, circa 1870. For more permanent placement, the trolley makes a fine bookshelf or étagère for display.
