This superbe antique collectable, a beautiful 'Delft' tile, stunning.
One of the few 17th c tile painters known by name was Pytter Grauda, factory owner, Harlingen (1681-1708). His preserved stencils/sponsen - most signed 'PG' - can be found in various museum collections. His tile designs are well recognizable by his almost cartoonish style, often depicting galant couples.
