This is a great old painted piece. NOT a reproduction. I think it could be a door knocker or most likely a large clip, as the hinge is very tight like a clothespin. There are no markings for identification, its a lovely addition to any cast iron collection. Condition is what I consider normal wear, only tiny thing I see is a very minute splotch of light green paint right under the nose, not noticeable. Measures 4 in x 2.25in. This wise old owl would look good on a wall, door or perched on a desk. Cast iron collectible for sure.
Most of the items come estate fresh and have only been lightly cleaned leaving all patina intact. Signs of vintage age and wear to be expected. We have included up-close photos as part of our description.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Does not arrive

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
