Charming, mid century modern ceramic duck mounted on marble by artist Maigonis Daga. Daga, who was originally from Latvia, moved to the US and opened a ceramics studio in the 1950s. He was well known for his animals on marble. This piece is his mallard duck form 38b. Great organic modern colors and style make this a great piece for any shelf or table.
