Scarce vanity stool or bench by CUSHMAN OF VERMONT. Model 4-163S. The design is by Herman De Vries and dates from the 1930s. It is made of solid maple. The measurements are 21" W x 12" D x 18"H. Structurally very good. The finish shows some wear from use. The piece can be used for a bench, a stool or a side table.
