Set of 2 Richard Ginori 1735 Galli Vecchio Ginori Plate hand painted with red roosters and pure gold edging.
Richard Ginori Siena Rust pattern with shades of red and orange dominate this pattern which also depicts scenes of roosters and botanical.
Features reddish brown or siena colored roosters with gold painted accents.
The rim is gold and encircling an embossed edge.
These two plates could also be used as wall art or cabinet plate decor.

The Italian Fruit was created around 1760 and has been a long seller representing ghinoli with freshness that doesn't seem to be like 250 years ago. (Series Details) The Red Cock has a particularly Japanese influence among the numerous patterns of Richard Ginori. The design is "Brilliant-zura" picture plate made in Arita in Kyushu. This motif was used during the age of founder Carlo Jinoli, but at some point, "Uzura" has been repainted in the form of "Niwatori".
