The colors are exquisite, unusual and rich looking. This is an early work of Italian ceramics from the 1950s that is signed but hard to read. We have determined that it is the work of Luis Zambelli. This is most likely a studio piece. It has tapestry-like design with textural glaze. The colors range from purple to turquoise, to pink to red, to orange to yellow to black to brown, etc. This is stunning as a decorative bowl or ceramic object but one can also serve out of it.
