The glass inkwells are bevel faceted at edges, starburst on top/bottom with hinged lids.The thick onyx platform base has a soft edge, inkwell rests ornamented with a beaded edge and laurel leaf bands surround with appliqués of dore bronze, at front a pen rest of rectangular form above a slender brass footed base.

Note: Glass is colorless. In images the inkwells appear tinted due surrounding color absorption; e.g. framed metal rests. Often exquisitely crafted sets, such as this, are alternatively used as vanity perfume bottles. See less
