Designed to provide outdoor use all year long . . . never need to be "brought inside or protected" after the season. In the 1950s - 1990s these concrete patio sets were quite popular in Palm Beach and Miami yards and around motel pools. (The price listed is for 1 set but a total of 2 identical sets are available for individual purchase.) Virtually indestructible, very sturdy and made to last outdoors forever in all types of weather. The table top and benches have small smooth decorative pebbles on top as seen in photo, which is typical of these vintage sets. This concrete patio set is impervious to weather, made to withstand heavy rains, strong wind storms, year round use and gets its own weathering patina over time as seen in the photos. The table slab and bench tops are designed to be removable for ease of moving and sit on top of sturdy concrete pedestal / legs. The table has a 2 inch hole in the center for an umbrella or tiki torch. There are no marker's mark. Both the table and benchs are all concrete, sturdy and in very good condition consistent with age, weathering and use.
Please note: There are a total of three identical sets, each with a table and three benchs. The three identical sets were made in Miami in the late 1950s or early 1960s and placed around the pool patio of a 1957 Mid-Century Modern Miami home, where they have been ever since. (Two of the sets are visible around the pool in one of the photos, the other set is shown in the adjoining photo.) The price listed is for one set consisting of one table and three benches but up to two individual sets are available for purchase.
Dimensions:
Table consists of 2 parts: the round top that sits on the pedestal. The table measures 42 inches in diameter with a 2 inch lip around the edge, and a 2 inch wide hole in the center for an umbrella or tiki torch. The table height is 27.5 inches at top with a seating clearance of 25.5 inches. The table's pedestal base is 16 inches in diameter.
Each bench consists of 3 parts: the top curved slab and two feet. Each bench is 38 inches long and 15 inches wide, with a seat curvature clearance of 17 inches. Each bench measures 15.5 inches in height to the top and has a 2 inch lip all around. See less
