A beautiful American porcelain ivory plate with abundant gold accents, circa mid 20th century, USA. Piece showcases magnificent golden band of intricate detailing around the rim. The center is adorned with an ornate star pattern. Gold leaf Empire style garland decorations are featured on the plate. Displays beautifully for a table setting, indoors or out. Piece can be used as platform for serving hors d'oeuvres, petitfours, cheese, dessert. Piece can be also be used as dinner plate, or charger plate. With makers' mark "Edgerton" and "U.S.A." on reverse.
