In this listing you will find a pair of small armchairs designed by Gastone Rinaldi for RIMA. Gastone Rinaldi designed this beautiful and iconic pair of rare armchairs in 1954. The shape of the armchairs is sculptural, unique, and extraordinary: the two soft armrests merge to form a backrest with filigree contours without restricting the seat's comfort. The legs of the chairs are very finely designed and create a wonderful symbiosis with the organically shaped seat. Gastone Rinaldi found contour-soft and ergonomic shapes and projected them onto his designs. The frame comes with steel legs. The chairs were produced between 1955-1960 and are in good vintage condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
