Demand for antique oak library tables around six feet in length has grown considerably in recent years with the reality of more people than ever working from home. This antique library table is constructed from a premium grade of quartersawn white oak, also referred to as tiger oak, which has developed a rich and vibrant color with a warmth and depth that takes many years to naturally create. The top of the library table features boldly figured tiger oak with a desirable grain pattern that elevates this desk well above most other examples constructed during the same time period. There are two fully functioning drawers situated beneath the top of the table. This library table features four round and fluted legs that are joined together by a continual stretcher base and raised on four finely turned bun feet. The legs and stretcher framework are able to be detached from the top section in order to ease the difficulty of transport and limit the chance of any element of the table being damaged. This antique library table is in exceptional condition with only a singular blemish that is darker than the rest of the table top being apparent. This discoloration is included in the photographs as it merits mention however it really does not detract from the beauty of the table at all.
