On the body two branches of white roses in full bloom and bud form with verdant foliage, worked in meticulous detail, set against stunning metallic red background. Ginbari is a technique where the maker wraps the textured body in shimmering foils before applying artworks and enamels, resulting in a beautiful iridescent background. Ginbari work is rarely done by Ando Jubei who focused more on the Musen-jippo technique and created more pieces with smooth foil-less enameled background.
