They are … Read more Beautiful set of six, Spindle Back, model J77 Chairs by Folke Palsson for FDB Mobler, Denmark circa 1970’s. They are of solid wood construction featuring a concave serpentine crest rail above six turned spindles. The scooped seat is nicely formed with a shaped saddle seat resting on splayed turned legs. The maker’s stamp identifies the date of manufacture 1977, on the underside of each seat. (F. D. B. made in Denmark). Classic, simple petite design, iconic of Danish Modern design. Perfect for smaller spaces. They are stunning and a fine selection for any interior where the distinctive style can be appreciated.
Condition Report: Good condition. Spindles are intact with no movement. Tight and sturdy, made with superior craftsmanship, with light surface wear. One seat shows light wear shown in the photo.
