The rare out of print lithograph print is a page from an original vintage monograph portfolio of Cezanne prints published in 1952 by Harry N. Abrams New York, printed in The United States. It features an artwork image originally created by Cezanne in 1895 titled " Portrait of Gustave Geffroy ".

Paul Cezanne ( 1839 - 1906 ) was a French artist and Post Impressionist painter who laid the foundations of the transition from 19th Century conception of artistic endeavor to a new and radically different world of art in The 20th Century. Cezanne is said to have formed the bridge between late 19th Century Impressionism and the early 20th Century new line of artistic inquiry. Both Matisse and Picasso are said to have remarked that Cezanne " Is The Father Of Us All ".

The lithograph print plate is attached to the page with a method called " tipping " where it is attached to the page by hand on 2 corners. Behind the print image on the page are printed details about the original artwork.

The lithograph print plate image measures 7 1/2" W X 10" H, on a page backing that is 10 3/4" W X 14 1/2" H. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling.
