This antique table from Sweden features … Read more A beautiful turn of the 17th and 18th century Swedish period Baroque wooden table. This antique table from Sweden features a rectangular-shaped top, with rounded corners, which overhangs the apron below that features a carved skirt-line about all four sides (making for a great option to be floated within a room). The table is presented upon four nicely turned baluster style legs, each braced within a box stretcher with flat rail top about their ankles, and terminating into squared/block carved feet. This piece has an attractive bleached wood finish, with the top piece and various trim accents having a complimentary wash of beige. Note that the top is old, but likely replaced the original. This table breaks down in two pieces making for easier transport and installation. This early 18th century Swedish period Baroque occasional table would be quite handsome in a living room, study, or perhaps as an island within a kitchen. See less
