This mid-century commode … Read more A French Neoclassical style wooden commode, with unique and beautiful marble top, from the mid 20th century. This mid-century commode from France features a rectangular-shaped marble top, which rests atop a neoclassical inspired case with fluted side posts, brass corner accents at top, and houses three full recessed-panel, graduated drawers. Each of the dove-tailed drawers are fitted with rectangular bail-pull handles and escutcheon at center. This commode is presented upon flute-carved, tapering squared legs that terminate into squared brass feet. This piece has a custom bleached finish with cream accent trim. The marble is unusual and quite attractive, with cream and forest green veining. This vintage French Neoclassic style chest, with great marble top and brass accents, is a cute-sized piece- offering endless possibilities for placement and use within your home! See less
