This is a French Art Deco fashion croquis design by the iconic Gabrielle CHANEL. We recently purchased it in France. The print originally came from an unbound fashion album, "Creations Parisiennes" that dates to c1920s. The image showcases classic Chanel designs for the fashionable woman of the time. The 2-piece suit in plum color wool with a checkered, well-fitted jacket is comfortable, practical and classic. The navy blue wool coat has detailed nutria trim. Note the rear view sketches and the chic, stylish hats worn by the models. The image is in beautiful, clean condition, measuring 9.5 x 12.75 inches in size. It comes matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch mat that works with a standard size frame. This design is timeless and classic. Chanel original designs are HIGHLY collectible and desirable.
