On the body a tree branch of cherry blossoms in full bloom amid verdant foliage, worked in meticulous detail, set against emerald green background depicting bamboo leaves. Ginbari is a technique where the maker wraps the textured body in shimmering foils before applying artworks and enamels. The result is a beautiful iridescent background with subtle artworks which become visible under certain light angles. The images of cherry blossoms and bamboos symbolize renewal and continuous advancement. Signed at the base rim with Sato mark and signature. In excellent antique condition with all enamels intact.
