The lithograph print is published by Artistic Picture Publishing Co. Inc., N.Y.C. U.S.A., printed in Holland in the 1950's in an unnumbered limited edition by Meets lithographers Inc. It features an artwork image originally created by Van Gogh in 1888 titled " Haystacks in Provence ", ciurtesy of The Kroller Muller Museum in Otterlo The Netherlands.

Vincent Van Gogh ( 1853 - 1890 ) the Post Impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western Art. Van Gogh lived in The South of France for more than a year in 1888, experiencing great productivity there before suffering from a mental breakdown. In this period he created numerous important paintings in and around Arles, developing an expressive, individual painting style characterized by bold colors and dynamic brush strokes. The artwork " Haystacks in Provence " was created during this most brilliant period of work in 1888 in Arles, Bouches Du Rhone, France.

The rare out of print large format fine art Dutch lithograph print measures 27 1/2" W X 23 1/2" H. It is printed on high quality heavyweight paper stock with a matte eggshell finish.

It is in very good vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling and wear. It has never been framed. There is some light corner and edge wear, and a small tear in the upper center top margin edge that has been repaired from the reverse back side with transparent archival tape.
