Irwin Jacob Rosenhouse (1924-2002) "Jospeh Before Pharoah" [sic] 1966; woodblock print; pencil signed, titled and numbered 19 of 150.
This illustration "The Rabbi's Bible" published in 1966.
Rosenhouse worked as a designer at MOMA early in his career. Later he taught at several New York City institutions while working as a book illustrator for many children, religious and history books. In addition, he created album covers during the golden age of record design for Smithsonian Folkways, MGM and Columbia. Please ask about combined shipping.
