A pair of French Empire style brass candlesticks from the 1800s with a beautiful silhouette and nice heft in the patinated metal that will add intrigue to a mantel or dining table. Subtle, etched patterns and hatching borrowed from the designs of Egypt or Persia create definition around the top and base of each candlestick. Note that the bobeches are removable for catching and cleaning melted wax. Please view all the detailed images to see the current condition as some of the edges are a little uneven from time & use.
