Triad Variable by Sherry Schrut is a print with added color wash. Schrut's work is influenced by the Abstract Expressionists of the mid 20th century and whose style she integrates into her paintings and prints. Her method of printing embosses deep images to which she than adds delicate colors to further enhance the print. Schrut is an established American artist. Please zoom in to see the art more clearly.
There were 12 of these linocuts, each of which she hand painted. This one is 1/12 but a unique original print due to the hand painting by the artist.
On heavy paper with deckled edges, measuring 14.25 x 22.6” unframed.
Newly-framed in a solid wood, slim profile, gold contemporary frame, ready to hang.
