This intricate masquerade art piece features a wonderful abstract nature motif accent painted among the handcrafted structural sinuous and asymmetrical "whiplash" curves reminiscent of Art Nouveau style. This one-of-a-kind leather wall sculpture plays on the mythology of Maenads/Bacchae in it's flair and color palate. The articulated brow and eye cut-outs with eyelash accent add to the mystery and emotion of the mask. Created by the artist Alejandro Rodriguez of Copala, Mexico in 2019, the handcrafted leather mask is signed and dated, as pictured. It measures 14" H x 11" w.
