Exquisitely hand-crafted in Paris, France, in the third quarter of the 19th century, exceptionally excuted in stunning and luxurious Neoclassical influenced King Louis XVI style, with a reserved Directoire taste, featuring a elegantly appointed architectural inspired solid mahogany case, in warm deep rich burgundy wine reddish tones showcasing outstanding warmth and depth, adorned with simple polished gilt bronze trim, fitted with a single frieze drawer over drop-front door opening to reveal the marble-lined interior cupboard chamber, with two additional drawers below, each with high quality dovetail joinery and affixed with a patinated brass pull, flanked by classic fluted column supports, rising on bun feet, topped with the striking original inset variegated breccia marble. circa 1860
