Lucian Ercolani mastered the art of steam bending wood, making it a hallmark of Ercol chairs. The Fleur De Lys design reflects the traditional Windsor chair-making techniques from the Chilterns, and this particular chair dates back to the 1970s. The chair's back showcases a beautiful Fleur De Lys design carved into the central slat, flanked by stick back slats. The armchair includes wooden arms, with slender spindles supporting the armrests, and built-in lumbar support for added comfort. The foam-filled cushions are upholstered in a lovely pastel floral fabric and are original Ercol, reupholstered to retain their charm, and attach to the chair with the original poppers.
