A beautiful set of 2 framed hand colored engravings depicting different European maritime scenes. Each frame mat is hand painted with marbled green, brown and gold - all different, but corresponding. By various artists; these are quite stunning and interesting. Circa 1840. A lovely set.
Titled and Inscribed:
1): Liverpool. Canning Docks & Custom House. W.H. Bartlett (bottom left), T. Higham (bottom right).
