The Abstract Expressionist exhibition poster print is published by The Gagosian Gallery. Printed in The United States in 2022 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition at Gagosian Beverly Hills. This exhibition brought together paintings, sculptures, and works on paper by the artist Cy Twombly. It features an " Untitled " artwork image originally created by Twombly in 2007.

Cy Twombly ( 1928 - 2011 ) is an American born Abstract Expressionist painter, sculptor, and photographer. The predominately large scale freely scribbled, calligraphic and graffiti like works shift toward Romantic Symbolism interpreted visually through shapes, forms, colors, and words. Twombly is said to have influenced younger artists such as Jean Michel Basquiat, Anselm Kiefer, Francesco Clemente, and Julian Schnabel. Artworks by Twombly are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

Radiating a gestural force that first appeared in Twombly's " Blackboard " works of the 1960's and early 1970's, the artwork image in this poster features cursive lines, sweeping arcs, and drips of red against a yellow field. It exemplifies the artist's return to painting at a large scale in the 2000's, as well as his adoption of a new approach to color with palettes of lush, saturated hues.

The rare out of print framed exhibition poster print measure 23 1/8" W X 36 1/8" H X 1" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern variegated natural oak tan light brown woodgrain style matte eggshell finish metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling.
