A lidded porcelain jar in the familiar blue and white, it has all of the details that we love. The lid is topped with a basket of appliquéd flowers and is surrounded with a border of butterflies. The jar is quatrefoil shaped and repeats the appliquéd flowers on the sides. The butterflies are found again around the base.
This chinoiserie piece can be at home anywhere… in your blue and white display, on a sideboard, in the kitchen or bath. Another one like it is rare. See less
