What we love most about this table is the way the maker blended timeless earlier Neoclassical Empire styling with contemporary (at the time) period late Victorian Arts & Crafts and Craftsman influence. We also love it's size and versatility!

United States, turn of the late 19th / early 20th century, richly figured solid oak with mellow patina and attractive subtle grain patterns, having a large square overhanging top, molded frieze with beading, open base with central fluted column, scrolled supports at the four corners, raised on a shaped platform base, further raised on scrolled feet.
