Large antique American Gothic Revival throne chair, circa 1870s. Made from walnut with a pierced cathedral back featuring arches and a central quatrefoil. Seat is upholstered in silk with an alternating striped floral pattern with tasseled skirt. The chair is supported by octagonal turned legs leading to a bun foot.
