The body of the lamp is curvy starting at the base it extends outward only to decrease again at the neck . The ceramic upon a gilded gold base. The lamp has a glass globe that sits on the top. This is included. It allows for you to rest a lampshade on the top of the glass. With its height, it would be a lovely piece to tuck into a corner on a side table or on an entryway table.

31 inches tall to the top of the glass by 7.25 inches in diameter. Ceramic portion of the lamp is 14.25 inches tall

Glass globe included. Lampshade not included. A 12 inch long lampshade would work and cover from the top of the glass down to the neck.

Power switch on both the neck and the base both must be on for lamp to power on. Power has been tested and lamp powers on, 250 V, 250 W, standard US bulb and cord.
