Hand carved wooden frame with a grayish white finish, low guards to either end padded at the top and curving down to the rectangular base. Newly professionally upholstered loose seat cushion and two round bolsters in a blue-grey velveteen upholstery. The frame has incised detailing and apron in the neoclassical style. The seat is supported by elegant circular fluted tapered legs ending with a topie shaped feet. Finished on all sides, excellent joinery and craftsmanship with solid joinery and a lovely aged patina on the painted finish. This bench would be an absolute dream at the foot of the bed, in the sitting room, or in the entryway.
