This coffee-table book, hardcover in dust jacket, was written dy Diane Maddex, an authority on Wright and also historic preservation. Here, in full color, are photographs of FLW living rooms, dining rooms libraries, playrooms. and public spaces. Included are rooms in many of the homes Wrighte designed, as well as the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Wright described his style as "Organic Nature", which became a marriage of Arts & Crafts and The Prairie School. The rooms displayed range from the early 1906 Robie House to the Guggenheim, completed in 1959 (after the architect's death.) Each photo includes a description of the clients, their requirements, and the final Wright design. A great book for fans of Frank Lloyd Wright, his architecture & enduring architecture and design.
