These beautifully composed and colored woodblock prints are by Japanese artist Mitsuhiro Unno (1939-1979), signed in pencil by the artist and dated at lower right. Both are scenes of Japanese country life with similar backgrounds of thatched roof structures. The Image on right features a female figure before a lit doorway flanked by a crop field, limited edition no. 36/100, dated 1975. The image on left features two children on a bicycle before the structure, limited edition no. 16/100, dated 1973. Both pieces were custom framed 11/2019 and feature gray over Vintage white cloth covered archival matte, uv glass and a dark brown bamboo carved wood frame with copper highlights, hardware fastened at rear with (2) bumpers at bottom corners and a small wall hardware bag.
Dimensions: Sight; 10.75" H x 13.5" W, Overall; 19.25" H x 22" W x 1.5" D each piece.
