Absolutely beautiful art bowl by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda, Circa 1996, as Part of the Chicko Series. The exterior is a rough texture, the interior smooth and the edges jagged ~ all by design.

Marked "Kosta Boda Art Coll" on bottom and retains its original sticker

Per the website MotherSweden: "Bertil Vallien (1938–) has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Boda, and Kosta. One of the most well-known series is Chicko from 1996. It consists of 12 bowls and vases with rounded forms, rough textures, and interspersed color fragments. The series was manufactured until 2006."
