Artist bio: Michael Clane Graves is a graphic design professor at Art Center College of Design in California, and earned his BFA and Masters in Painting and Drawing from Brigham Young University.
Artist's Statement
"The substance of my work centers on the principles and processes that shape the spirit/mind dimension of existence. Over the years I have developed a vocabulary of forms that act as signifiers for these principles and processes. This search for descriptive and compelling forms has led to a visual dialogue between order and chance. It is my hope that the work will give the viewer a glimpse of what is just beyond one's senses."
