The … Read more This gorgeous pair of large Chinese vases on custom black wooden stands would be the centerpiece of any room. The porcelain bodies were made in Taiwan then hand-painted and re-fired in Hong Kong by Maitland-Smith Ltd., renowned creator of stunning home accents for over four decades.
Each of the matching vases is 20.5in tall (including 1.75in stand) and 9.75in wide/deep at the widest point. The base color is pure white, with elaborate decorations. Figured bands of navy blue separate a large stylized peony on each face of the vase in salmon (2 sides), lavender (1 side), and yellow (1 side). Six detailed winged horse medallions surround two lion handles. The neck of each vase is embellished by more small peonies. See less
