Kiyoshi Saito (Japanese, 1907-1997) Light from the Jokoji temple shines through the ancient entrance gate. This is the unlimited edition version of a very similar work done in 1960 of Joko Temple in Nara Prefecture. In this version the overhanging green tree appears on the right instead of on the left of the print. Artist seal in red and signature in white at lower left. Frame measures 17" x 22", woodblock measures 11" x 16". Excellent condition.
