The circular top is a richly figured pink Apuan breccia marble, likely Breccia Medicea (Seravezza), with cream calcite and charcoal veining. The apron is decorated with gilt‑bronze mounts and appliqués—acanthus leaf reliefs, laurel vines, and a central rocaille shell—and the outline is further defined with brass banding. The warm mahogany and lively stone mix easily with French traditional, Belle Époque/Napoleon III, Hollywood Regency, and eclectic contemporary interiors. Unsigned, yet executed to a high standard consistent with premier Belle Époque atelier work.
